Infrastructure and Network Engineer Level 2-3
South Reading, £25 - £35K depenant on experience
Our Client is a well established leading Computer Solutions, Services and Security company working within the Thames Valley area.
They are going through an exciting phase of expansion as they develop their client base into larger corporate customers with solutions and services from Microsoft, Fortinet, HP, Trapeze and Siemens Communications.
They are currently looking for an experienced self-motivated Escalation Engineer capable of working on problems up to and including 2 and 3rd Line Level. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, be customer focused and be able to work as an individual or as part of a team.
Strong knowledge of the following required:
Exchange 2003 and 2007 (particularly 2007)
Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2008 R2
HP Servers
Active Directory, IIS and Certificate Services
Small Business Server 2003
Symantec BackupExec versions 11 to 12.5.
Additional Products and Technologies:
Microsoft CRM 3.0 and 4.0
SharePoint (WSS 2.0 and 3.0 plus full products)
OCS 2007
Small Business Server 2008
Microsoft Hyper-V and VMWare ESX virtualisation products
Windows Server Core
Candidates must:
Have a current MCP and preferably something within the Vista/Server 2008 exam range
4 years experience in supporting SMB clients
Have a valid clean EU/UK driving license
It would be beneficial to have a good working knowledge of Internet Connectivity (ADSL/SDSL/Leased Lines) LAN's, WAN's, and Firewalls.
Full training on the systems that our client works with will be given and professional qualification advancement is fully supported.
